Working on the new CD has been an extremely liberating process - cathartic, even. It's not exactly belly dance, or sometimes even electronica, really.

The next CD will be called "Falik's Revenge". It occurred to me one day that people often call me Falik - which is my fault, because I created the character to perform at faires and gigs. Well, if this is an alter ego, then Falik would probably also have an ego, as well. So here goes...

Falik's a little upset at me impersonating him all this time, making him appear at malls and coffee shops and what-not, but never giving hm a real voice, like he's my puppet, ot something. So Falik decides one day to make me do what he wants to do. Well, Falik is a bit of a rocker and he wants to prove that he can do more than jockey a computer and splice loops. So the next CD is his "revenge" on me.

Like I said, he's got a bit of an ego so he would really like it if you dropped him a note, show him some love. He may not return it, but he might write a song about. He can be such an ass sometimes.
